Boatnames.co.uk is part of Signpost Express (uk) ltd, a sign company with over 30 years experience in the sign trade, and boat graphic supply.
We are based on the Isle of Wight, and originate from Cowes, the home of yachting, as part of a boat building company.
The first boatnames we created were in fact painted, and the signwriter was a principle in starting the present company.
Firstly came vinyl lettering, taking over from sign writing which we supplied locally.
When the internet became a selling tool we created our interactive web site the first in the country, winning a local chamber of commerce award for its innovative design. Thus enabling us to supply boat owners throughout world, and we have from New Zealand to Iceland.
